THE RIGHT COURSE
Overview:
The Right Course for indigenous job seekers is Budda Jitja - a computer based skills training programme which helps indigenous job seekers prepare for working life. Literally meaning “Brother, Sister” Budda Jitja was developed in conjunction with an indigenous team to deliver interactive learning with animated indigenous characters and vernacular.
Budda Jitja is a “work for Life” skills program that focuses job seekers on being employed and the specific areas of emphasis needed to prepare for and undertake work and meet the needs of employers. In 2009 Budda Jitja received accreditation as a Certificate I in Vocational Preparation (22012VIC). This qualification will be recognised nationally by potential employers. It is proven to work across the various levels of literacy, language and computer skills of indigenous job seekers.
